Scientific Name: Podophyllum peltatum
Will spread to large colonies in optimal conditions. Flowers in the spring and goes dormant in summer. Each flower produces a greenish fruit which turns yellow when ripe. The fully ripened fruit, is sometimes used to make preservatives and jellies. Often grown as an ornamental in a native plant garden. Deer and rabbit resistant.
